Miata Trophy has swiftly established itself as one of the most competitive championships in the country and excitement levels ahead of the 2026 season are high.
The release of an enviable provisional calendar has only further added to the anticipation, with 16-rounds across the UK’s finest circuits scheduled.
As it did last year, the 2026 season is set to roar into life in March, with the tricky and technical Snetterton 300 circuit hosting the championship’s opening two rounds. It will be fascinating to see which drivers start the season in the strongest fashion.
Miata Trophy is then set to make its return to the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit, following a gripping debut at the world-renowned track in 2025. One legendary Grand Prix circuit follows another, with the historic Brands Hatch then set to welcome the championship for Rounds 5 & 6.
This promises to be a tremendous occasion, as Miata Trophy competitors will once again have the opportunity to compete as part of the support package for GT World Challenge Europe.
A return to Wales and the scenic Anglesey Coastal circuit is next penned in, a few weeks ahead of a meeting at championship stalwart Donington Park. The Leicestershire circuit is thought of highly by many within the paddock and has produced a number of different winners, including a maiden victory for BTCC race winner Paul O’Neill.
The championship will then head North to Cheshire, for two rounds at the picturesque Oulton Park circuit, before returning to Snetterton for the penultimate weekend of the season in October.
The concluding two rounds of the year will once more take place at the iconic Brands Hatch Indy circuit. With the first three seasons of Miata Trophy producing three different Champions, will we crown a fourth in as many years in Kent?
